Penny is truly amazing. She managed the work for a new roof and siding for my home. She helped me make decisions and she did not hesitate to steer me in the right direction. If you want a hard worker and someone who is honest and dependable, she is that person and more.

Nothing but good things to say about Blackrock. Penny was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. She was very helpful in the decision making process. If we had a questions, and we did, she was very quick to respond. I would HIGHLY recommend giving them a shot at whatever project you may have.

As my title would hint, this is not something I do unless a person or company has gone above and beyond. My experience with Penny and Sarah warrants praise due to the way with which they handled my insurance company and my roofing project. An impressive endeavor where they took almost all of the worry out of the circumstance for myself and delivered a new roof.

Penny came out to inspect our roof after we’d had some leaks. We were so very appreciative of the time and effort she spent teaching my husband about the roof and how to repair it ourselves until we can get a new one. She was very knowledgeable, meticulous and thorough, and willing to educate us about the roof and its issues. It made an impression, as we greatly value honest and kind people with the heart of a teacher. We have not yet used the company for a new roof, but we had a wonderful experience with Penny and Black Rock.

Penny and team were outstanding. They were quick to respond to our quote request and were very clear throughout the process from design to schedule and finally, install. The quality of the work was outstanding and they took care to leave the yard very clean following the work.

Sarah, Penny and Cindy guided us through a very challenging insurance situation after a huge hailstorm. They’re creative, smart and responsive. Their crews were great to work with and very skilled. We strongly recommend them and plan to work with them again!

I think the word I would use to describe my experience with Penny and company is trust. I found I could trust Penny Erickson with my roofing needs; she put me at ease during the first meeting.

From roofing inspection to dealing with the insurance company, she and her team, Cindy and Sarah,were there for all my questions and needs, which were many!

As luck would have it, 2 days after completion of my roof, a hail storm hit south Minneapolis. I didn’t even need to ask; she and her team were there to fix and replace shingles as needed. What company does that?

From the first meeting to completion and clean up, Penny, Cindy and Sarah were professional and competent. I personally wouldn’t use any company but theirs. They have a 5-star rating from me as their level of work and attention to detail is second to none.
