We had an absolutely fantastic experience working with Blackrock Exteriors. We plan to have new siding installed in the next couple of years, but had some siding and other exterior wood repair issues that needed to be addressed NOW. Since the job was a small one, we had trouble finding companies who were even willing to bid on our project, much less take it on. Penny was wonderful…she was super responsive, provided consultative insights along with practical solutions, and she and her team did a terrific job on our project. Their commitment to doing things right — and doing the right things for our situation! — was so refreshing, and much appreciated. We wholeheartedly recommend Blackrock Exteriors!!

If I had any questions Penny Erickson was always available to answer them. On the insurance side Sarah was able to wade through the complexities of current insurance policies, a formidable task. We were experiencing some minor water damage that would be resolved by installing some additional gutters. We sought a few bids and decided to select Blackrock. Penny did a fantastic job of evaluating our situation and making logical recommendations, and this was the deciding factor. The process was easy and we signed the contract and made a deposit all on-line, which saved time and was super convenient. The crew arrived, set-up, did the work and made sure we were satisfied then did a thorough clean up and off they went. I think they may have been on our property for an hour and a half! Penny followed up to make sure everything we discussed was completed, which is a great touch!. The team at Blackrock has been fantastic throughout out project and I recommend anyone give them a call for a bid on any home projects they can help with.

Wow Wow Wow!! We hired Blackrock Exteriors after our roof was damaged by hail and we could not be more pleased with how it turned out. They make the process very easy on the homeowner and they deal with the pesky insurance companies so the homeowner doesn’t have to. Penny and her team are the real deal! 10/10!

We had a great experience with Blackrock Exteriors. We called Blackrock about a leak in our roof, and they were out the very next day to assess the situation. Penny immediately diagnosed the problem, presented a plan for fixing it, and gave us a quote (less than we had anticipated!).

Other companies we contacted for quotes took weeks to get back to us, or sent over employees who did very half-hearted inspections. Penny quickly responded to all of our emails and texts and was very communicative and helpful throughout the process. She and her crew showed up promptly, worked very quickly, and took care to thoroughly clean up the site.

Bonus points for the crew helping me carry a heavy baby stroller down the front steps!

All the people involved with Blackrock Exteriors were top notch. Very respectful and super helpful. Always answered questions I had and often just checked in before, during and after my roof was shingled. The workers up on roof were very good at cleaning up afterwards. Penny was very great in communicating and answering any questions I had in person or on phone. And also so thorough about repairing this and that and that I would have not thought of. Sarah was informative about all the Insurance confusions I had along with Penny. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needed roof work.

Penny is truly amazing. She managed the work for a new roof and siding for my home. She helped me make decisions and she did not hesitate to steer me in the right direction. If you want a hard worker and someone who is honest and dependable, she is that person and more.
